Tanim Al Jisan, a student at BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT), secured first place in the UCR Half Marathon 3rd Edition at Hatirjheel on December 15, 2024. This marks his first victory in the 21.1 km race, following second and third-place finishes in previous editions. Starting at 5:45 a.m., participants completed three laps around Hatirjheel. Tanimfinished the course in just over 1 hour and 30 minutes. The award ceremony was attended by representatives from the event’s sponsoring organizations and distinguished guests.
