When is the Convocation?
Details of the convocation are below:
Eligible Graduates
The following graduates are requested to fill in the registration form and complete their registration by coming to the Registrar’s Office physically within the time frame set by the university:
- MBA in Apparel Merchandising: Batches of 202, 211, 212 and 221
- MSc in Fashion Design: Batches of 202, 211, 212 and 221
- MSc in Textile Engineering: Batches of 202, 211, 212 and 221
- All Undergraduates: Batches of 182 and 191

What you need to bring?
Your registration will require the following:
- Early Bird Registration Fees: BDT. 6000 (entitles you to bring two members, preferably your parents and certificates) – by 30 September 2023
- Registration Fees: BDT. 7000 (entitles you to bring two members, preferably your parents and certificates) – by after 30 September 2023
- Three copies of passport size photographs
- Provisional Academic Transcript
- All previous academic certificates and transcripts

BUFT Alumni Association is an independent, non-profit organization that aims to promote the welfare of the university by cultivating a mutually beneficial relationship between BUFT and its growing worldwide community of alumni.
The Alumni Association provides and supports alumni programs and services, facilitates communication with alumni, and seeks to strengthen alumni bonds of fellowship, professional association and university affiliation.
The Alumni Association leverages the resources, talents, and initiatives of alumni and friends to advise, guide, advocate for and support the Association and the university in achieving their respective missions and goals. The Alumni Association provides an alumni network and encourages alumni engagement in the life of the university.

Alumni Association’s events include annual cultural program like alumni night, grooming session for graduating students, welcoming program for newly graduate students, etc.
Members of the BUFT Alumni Association hold all the rights to attend such program all life long.
BUFT believes that education is a lifelong adventure. You feel free to join us for a range of further education opportunities, public lectures, panel discussion and seminars as well as postgraduate study.
You can access free career counseling after finishing your graduation. We also provide information about vacancies in different organization. We also organize several career based workshop for both graduating and graduate students.
