Mr. Md. Jahirul Islam is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Business Studies, BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He obtained his MBA in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Dhaka in 2006. He also completed his BBA in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Dhaka in 2005.  His areas of interest are Forensic Accounting, Earnings Management, Corporate Governance, Merger and Acquisition, and Financial Reporting Quality. He has published 7 articles so far in reputed international and local peer reviewed journals.
